Why Compassion For Education Campaign
Farida represents many children across Nigeria from poorest households who are at risk of dropping out-of-school if they don’t get help. Farida is one of 6 children from her widowed mother who does petty trading in the local market and her meager earning is never enough to feed the family, let alone send Farida and her siblings to school. But Farida has been enjoying 5 years of uninterrupted education with books, uniform, lunch, sanitary pads and computer education all for N100/6cents A-Day fees at Charity School Kuje. Farida desires to be an engineer and get her mother out of poverty, but without help, what may have become of her fate today?
Compassion For Education Campaign is raising 3,000 Education Champions who will give N100 / 6cents daily for a year to
- Sponsor 170 less privileged bright children in school
- Provide School meals to students and
